Snickerdoodles - Prep time 15 minutes

3 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

3 tblsp sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Bake for 8 minutes a 375 degrees

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla together until creamy.  Add dry ingredients.  Roll into 2 inch balls, dip into cinnamon and sugar mixture and place on greased cookie sheets.  Flatten with bottom of glass.  Bake for 8 minutes.

These cookies were easy to make and made the kitchen smell like cinnamon. The light fluffy color stands out and looks nice on a plate. The cinnamon and sugar give them a crystal look and delicious flavor.

Very important:  Make sure the cookie sheets are greased before you place cookie dough on them.  Continue to grease as needed.
