Review:
No eggs, milk, or butter? That was my main concern. In any cake that I've ever made it's almost always had those main ingredients. This cake was very fluffy and had a great texture. Usually adding eggs will help the texture so I was surprised when I bit into this to find that it was the normal texture of a cake.
The preparation for this recipe was very simple, just preheat your oven and begin mixing the ingredients together. Applying my knowledge from class I made sure to sift all of the ingredients that needed to be sifted. I also made sure not to beat the batter otherwise I would lose air and it would not be fluffy once it was baked.
I truly did not think that this cake would turn out. It was not as sweet as I would like it but the chocolate frosting made it much better. I would recommend this recipe to anyone who wants a quick and easy cake recipe.
