Cheese Pizza Critique

When comparing pizzas, it is important to look at the texture, taste, color, and aroma. I tried 3 different types of cheese pizzas and compared them to see which type was the best. The first type was a completely homemade pizza. Next was pre-made, store bought dough with toppings added. Last was Roma's frozen cheese pizza. I recorded all of the components above and created a chart comparing the 3 types of pizzas.

The first pizza that I tried was the homemade one. It was rich with flavor and topped with creamy mozzarella cheese. The pizza was a bit greasy, but this added to the delicious flavor. The texture was very soft however the crust was done to perfection. The crust had a lot of flavor but seemed a little too salty and doughy on the bottom. The aroma of this pizza was fresh and flavorful. The texture was thoroughly cooked all the way through. Overall this was the best pizza with the most rich flavor, decadent texture, and sweet aroma.

The second pizza that we ate was the store bought dough with the topping put on after the dough was cooked. This pizza for the most part was deliciously flavored all the way through. Although the mozzarella cheese on the top was very flavorful, there was too much added and it made it taste too heavy and cheesy. The aroma of the pizza was very mild, almost scentless. The texture was a little bit crunchy and almost hard to chew. This pizza was decent however not completely mind blowing.

The last pizza that I tried was Roma's frozen cheese pizza. This pizza was bland, boring, and tasted a little too much like cardboard. It had an almost burnt flavor to it, although from the outside the pizza didn't look burnt. The texture was extremely thin and tough. The aroma of the pizza was odorless and tasteless. Overall this pizza was very gross, and I would not eat it again if given the choice.
